Franklin Grove Area Historical Society

“Preserving Our Heritage is Pioneering Our Future”

The Franklin Grove Area Historical Society was founded to establish, promote and maintain a society dedicated to the study and preservation of our area history. The Society’s function is to research, collect, preserve, and display any artifacts, documents or lands, which illustrate and reflect the Franklin Grove area heritage. The Society endeavors to make its possessions, property and materials readily accessible with discretion, to those who wish to study and examine it. Chaplin Creek Village serves as the home of the Franklin Grove Area Historical Society and houses many of our artifacts.

The Historical Society is pleased to partner with Battery G to produce the first Annual Battle of Chaplin Creek which takes place June 21st and 22nd.
