Chaplin Creek Fiber Fair

July 31st & August 1st: The First Annual "Chaplin Creek Fiber Fair"


Enjoy a relaxing summer day at the First Annual Chaplin Creek Fiber Fair where you can learn about the ancient arts of spinning, weaving, dyeing, knitting, crocheting, as well as fiber producing animals and plants.

The Fiber Fair will include demonstrations and workshops for many of the fiber arts such as felting, dyeing roving and yarn, spinning & spindling. Vendors will offer raw and washed fleeces, prepared natural and dyed roving, mill spun and hand spun yarns as well as supplies to start or enhance your interests natural fibers.

All levels of experience will have something to enjoy; from the person with a new interest in any of the fiber arts to the most skilled Fiber Artist!

This well-anticipated event will be held in conjunction with the Annual "Summer Harvest Festival" which features a wide variety of other activities for you and your family to enjoy.

The Chaplin Creek Fiber Festival occurs Saturday July 31st and Sunday August 1st from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at in Franklin Grove, IL. Please check back often as we finalize and publish the daily activities.
